Cardinal Luis Tagle is Prefect of the Vatican Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, prior to which he was the 32nd Archbishop of Manila from 2011 to 2020. He also serves as president of Caritas International, a federation of Catholic relief and development organisations.

Elizabeth Adekunle is Archdeacon of Hackney in the Diocese of London and a Chaplain to HM The Queen. She is a Fellow of the Westminster Abbey Institute.

Join us for this lively discussion as Elizabeth Adekunle draws out Cardinal Tagle’s reflections on how the church - and religion more widely - seek to grow wisdom in their adherents, and what challenges there are to being a wise influence in society today.
