I started this song a few days before my dad passed.. it was the only wish I had. All I wanted to do was take his pain and help him into the next world or life. Watching him suffer and being able to do nothing hurt so much. But the thought of seeing him and having a conversation made me realize he would want me to be happy and that he is probably doing better than any of us here, haha. So thus this song was born. If you've lost a loved one or are grieving and in the midst of your healing process, just know you're not alone. And I'm sorry.. it truly is the worst experience. But I'm sending you love.
