PayPal Stock Crashing | Visa & SQUARE DOWN 20% | MA Dropping - Time To Buy The Payment Stock Dip?

Today we look at payment #Stocks #PayPal #Visa #Square and #Mastercard. Each of these stocks is down the past month and we discuss if it’s worth buying the dip in any of these stocks.

PayPal (PYPL) is down the most - about 60% from its 52 week highs. The company is struggling a bit after eBay no longer uses it as an exclusive payment option. Not only that, competition from Square, Affirm, Shopify and others are making it tough for PayPal to maintain dominance. We look at PayPal stock chart - which has really turned ugly to see if a bottoming is forming.

Square (SQ) Stock is in sideways consolidation after having a meteoric rise over the past year. The company is slightly more diversified than other pure payments stocks after acquiring Tidal for about $300M. Jack Dorsey has also been aggressive with innovation and crypto currency, helping drive Square’s earnings much higher. We discuss if you can buy Square stock as it trades sideways.

Visa (V) is a stock we love here on the channel. The company saw two negative press releases last week when UK issued Visa cards will no longer be accepted on Amazon. Additionally Amazon is thinking about switching from Visa to another provider on its flagship credit card. We look at the stock chart and dissect if this is a good buying opportunity for Visa stock.
