Don’t Use The UMP Until You’ve Watched This!

Today we’re looking at the UMP, which is seen by many as an easy go-to budget SMG - but there is more to it than first appears. You need to be careful WHEN in the patch progression you use this gun, as although it’s amazing in the first week of the wipe, as players progress onto Class 4 armor the usefulness of its primary ammo ACP Match FMJ becomes very questionable.

There are usually better options for the later section of Tarkov’s early game, until you reach Peacekeeper level 3 - with the unlock of ACP AP, the UMP’s power is returned as it can easily deal with class 4 that it found so tough with the lower grade ammunition!
