1 Hour+ Plane Spotting at Prague Václav Havel Airport, PRG | Inc A380!

Another new airport for me to visit, while in Prague I thought I'd travel to the official viewing platform and spend a few hours there. The weather was best during the morning, so I decided to do a morning session. Upon arrival, Runway 06 was in use for about 10 minutes before switching around to 24. The view from here was great, close up touch downs and spool ups! Unfortunately I couldn't film all rotations as some people got in the way at times.

There's plenty of variety at Prague, lots of planes about, some of which I've never caught before. It was also interesting that I was there for the inaugural visit of SCAT, using a 737-700. The service was welcomed with the traditional water salute. I noticed that Czech Airlines were now using a lot of the Smartwings and Travel Service fleet as their Airbus's have joined Eurowings. I personally really like the Smartwings livery, so it was nice to see them. Also look out for the Yan Air 737-400 being towed from a remote stand. According to planespotters.net it is currently leased to Smartwings. Other interesting sights here includes the daily Emirates A380, an Air Canada Rouge 767, a Delta 767-400 and an American A330.
