RECONNECT WP 9: Perceptions

Lead by the University of Vienna and the University of Münster, WP9 will study citizen perceptions of democracy and the rule of law in the EU and possible scenarios for reform. In particular, this WP will answer two crucial questions: (i) to what extent does discourse at the elite level resonate and proliferate at the citizen level?; and (ii) What would be the ideal EU in the eyes of citizens and how do they react to a range of options for reforming the EU’s current institutional set up?
