H reflex
In contrast to F-waves (motor-spinal cord-motor), H-Reflexes are a true reflex (sensory-spinal cord-motor). They are nearly exclusively studied in the calf muscles and are the #neurophysiology equivalent of testing the ankle jerk. They have a limited but interesting role to play, mainly in conditions such as S1 radiculopathy, Piriformis Syndrome and GBS/AIDP.
