The Arabian Magazine are pleased to present some memories from Jordan - WAHO 2022 - Part 2 - Jerash - a Roman city.

Jerash is justly famous as one of the largest and best preserved archaeological sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. Once one of the ten biggest cities of the Roman empire, and hidden under the sands for centuries, it is also known as the city of 1,000 pillars, and is a close second to Petra as a 'must-see' site in Jordan. It has an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. Our Tour includes the Colonnaded street, the Amphitheatre, the Hippodrome, Churches, Temples and the vast Roman Forum.
