See these wires here? These are burnt motor connectors. 🔌

This is simply caused by riding your electric kickscooter with too much payload on board, whether that be heavy backpacks or carrying more than 1 person on an e-scooter (this part is definitely NOT recommended at all for safety reasons). ⚠️

Why you shouldn’t ride with too much weight on board: The more weight you put on your electric scooter, the harder your motor has to work to transport you to your intended destination. All that heat and extra stress your motor is under causes these wires to fuse together (they’re very close together in the battery compartment). This will then cause a short to the control board, which will limit your overall speed, acceleration, and peak motor power. 🛴👈

Unfortunately, you could be blindly riding your electric kickscooter and not even know you have melted connections already.🤷‍♂️

Things to look out for: 🛑✋
A) Max speed is limited
B) Acceleration is limited
C) Peak motor power is limited

But, keep in mind that if you don’t have melted connections, there’s a possibility that you may have a flat tire instead. 👈🛞

Or, maybe you have an improper tire seating issue on your e-scooter. If that’s the case, we recommend contacting your local repair shop immediately that initially did the repair to resolve this! ⚙️👈
