Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of spurning ceasefire proposed by Kyiv by carrying out multiple air strikes and drone attacks.

Nato jets were recently summoned to Latvia after two drones entered from Russian territory and crashed into an oil storage facility.

Anne Applebaum suggests that the fall of long-standing Hungarian PM, Viktor Orban has meant that Ukraine 'now has the cards' in the war.

Applebaum also suggests Russians 'know they're losing', as the losses Ukraine are inflicting on the Kremlin are 'monumental'.
