Erik Satie Scale - analysis and uses in improvisation

In this video I introduce a scale that Erik Satie used in his piano composition Gnossienne no 3. It is a 6 note minor scale with an exotic sound containing the sharpened 4 and natural 6 degrees that contains 2 triads - A minor and B major.

Later in the video I demonstrate the sound of these 2 triads over an A minor chord vamp using some shapes from the Thesaurus of Minor Triad pairs
