Teach Kids to Code with Minecraft on Code.org

The Hour of Code is almost here and it's time to gather up some great resources and tools to teach kids how to code. In this video, we'll check out the cool new exercise on Code.org with a Minecraft theme!

This lesson targets kids age 6 and up. For fans of Minecraft, the sights and sounds will be very familiar. This tutorial makes use of the familiar drag and drop blocks to build construct small programs. It gets progressively difficult as you move along in the exercises.
