Iveria - Wedding Of The Jaybirds (Part 1)

So, here it is, the most ambitious project ever recorded in Georgian Rock. A four part Rock Opera, based on Vazha-Phavela's masterpiece Wedding Of The Jaybirds and utilising wide variety of genres, from Progressive Rock to Georgian Urban Music. The interpretation of Vazha's poem is combined with a light satire, joyfully mocking the Soviet lifestyle of that era. Almost perfectly executed, the staging of this project managed to sell out more than 100 concerts and is still in the memories of many Georgians.
