Why You Need Jesus AND a Counselor

Mari Pablo explains why we all need Jesus, and probably a mental health counselor.

There seems to be a stigma surrounding mental health in our world. We often think that we have to be experiencing extreme forms of mental stress before seeking help, but the fact of the matter is that we can all benefit from having a counselor.

Striving towards mental health doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with you, or that God isn’t good enough. It just means that you’re a human living in a fallen world, and getting a counselor is more likely to bring you closer to the Lord than farther from him.
