How To REDUCE Risk With Short Strangles | LIVE OPTIONS TRADING (6/6/22)

With the June monthly expiration cycle only a few days away, it is time to manage my short strangle positions on SPY and IWM. So in this next episode of my live options trading series, I will demonstrate the concept of rolling by moving my option contracts to the July cycle in order to extend the trade duration, collect additional credit, and significantly reduce my risk! The key is to always take the option deltas into account when managing a trade as these literally define the risk for the position. So by performing a bit of technical analysis and carefully picking your deltas for the rolled strangle, you can significantly increase the odds of making a profit! Moreover, as a result of the prior rolls and adjustments I've made to my IWM strangle, I was actually able to book some profits today as well!
