ICP Exposes Crypto’s Max Supply Scam

In this video, I break down why a capped max supply does not automatically make a crypto valuable. Scarcity only matters when there is real demand. A limited supply of something useless is still useless, and a max supply does not protect holders from insiders dumping, weak tokenomics, bad distribution, fake narratives, or a lack of real utility.

Bitcoin trained crypto investors to worship the idea of a fixed supply, but that mindset does not apply cleanly to Internet Computer Protocol. ICP is not trying to be a collectible rock or “digital gold.” ICP is used for computation, hosting websites, storing data, running canisters, AI applications, Internet Identity, secure sign-in, and cloud infrastructure.

The key point most people miss is that ICP can be burned for cycles, while the Network Nervous System controls governance and tokenomics through voting. ICP exists to support a real network, and as more enterprises, governments, websites, applications, and Caffeine AI users build on ICP, real usage can create real demand.

A max supply is not tokenomics. A max supply is just one talking point. The real question is whether the token has utility, demand, burn pressure, governance, security, and a reason to exist.
