Left main special : What is the best technique for ostial left anterieur descending lesion?
Christoph Jensen shares his expertise with Goran Stankovic on how to tackle an ostial left anterior descending lesion. Because of the big vessels and large perfusion territory involved with a bifurcation in the left main, C. Jensen cautions that “if something goes wrong, it can go terribly wrong”. Described by G. Stankovic as “one of the most challenging lesion subsets in the bifurcation field”, discover the different options for handling acute and stable cases, and why you should use an approach you are familiar with. C. Jensen gives his recommendations on when it is appropriate to use imaging to determine your strategy, and which procedures should be used. He also provides advice on when to use final kissing to open up the side branch. Supplement your understanding of the best techniques for dealing with this tricky situation.
