Introducing "Why Do I Pheel This Way?"

We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new video podcast series – “Why Do I Pheel This Way?” – that explores what it’s really like growing up with #phenylketonuria (PKU) through conversations and interviews led by young people living with this rare metabolic condition.

Connor, age 20, and Londyn, age 15, are the co-hosts extraordinaire of this three-episode series examining the realities of navigating adolescence with PKU, which affects the body’s ability to break down a protein building block called phenylalanine (Phe).

Some of the topics Londyn and Connor will explore through open conversation, interviews with experts and fun segments include daily routines, sports, well-being and the complex social dynamics of being a teenager with PKU.

The pair is hopeful that others navigating adolescence with PKU find parallels with their own experiences and are inspired to confront some of the same topics in their daily lives.
