the fifth estate has seen many stars on rise over its 40 seasons. Back in 1982 the fifth estate’s Bob McKeown profiled catcher Gary Carter at the height of his fame. Carter had just signed an unheard-of for the time multimillion dollar contract with the Expos and was making waves in the world of celebrity endorsements.
