MC 316 Swing: automatic multi-axis line by Mecal Machinery

The MC 316 Swing is a high-productivity automatic line with simultaneous multi-axis control — up to 38 axes — designed for cutting and machining extruded profiles in aluminum, light alloys, PVC, steel, and brass directly from bar stock.
Equipped with a dynamic bar loading system with automatic compactor, it modulates loading capacity based on profile section, storing up to 10 bars in the standard configuration. The bar feeder features 3 controlled axes (U–V–W) with optional 4th axis gripper rotation and CNC tipping devices for precise profile positioning across all geometry variants.
The machining module supports up to 6 electrospindles mounted on a 360°-rotating CNC-controlled turret, enabling milling, drilling, tapping, and slotting operations. The cutting module — with dual blade and Ø550 mm saw — delivers continuous angular cuts from 22.5° to 157.5°. A CNC-automated extractor serves the active unloading bench, available in three configurations.
Capable of completing entire production orders autonomously in unattended cycle mode, the MC 316 Swing sets a new standard in automated profile machining — ideal for window and door manufacturers, curtain wall specialists, and industrial fabricators.
