Where do most Republicans live in Washington State? Is it Eastern or Western Washington? Interestingly enough for every Republican on the East side of the State, there are 3 Republican voters on the Westside. In fact, there are more Republican voters in King County and Pierce County than all 20 counties of Eastern Washington combined. It isn't even close.

Interestingly, in this recent election cycle, if King County became its own state, then Washington would have a Republican Governor today. This county alone contributed 43% of Bob Fergusons votes in 2024.
