Vacuum Tubes: Episode 5 – The Pentode
In this episode we finally take a look at the pentode. With a bunch more stuff going on inside, we take a look at what each part does and how it changes tube operation compared to the triode. Then, we set up two circuits on the breadboard and see how the tubes react with a varying input. I busted out the oscilloscope for this one and had a ton of fun playing around with the resultant waveforms.
