Gran Turismo 1: Race Cars Never Seen Again Volume #1

Throughout the GT franchise, there have been various cars that have come and went. There are various reasons for this to happen of course whether it's time restraints, licensing, or PD losing interest in favor of other cars. No matter the case, these cars were sadly forgotten.

So as a tribute to these cars, I thought I would showcase some of them in this video. I only showed 6 for now, but I will make a volume 2 showing more. I kinda want to make this a series actually, with not just Gran Turismo 1, but the other GTs. Because I found a lot of cars in the classic era of Gran Turismo that were forgotten.

Anyway, I hope you find enjoyment in this showcase. Feel free to share your favorite car from this video. Mine is the NSX-R LM GT2, I love that livery.

and if you want to see more, I now have a playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEFggSknpsh25hpgOLHaou3PaW62Hz0iL

Songs Used:
- Gran Turismo 1 Arranged OST - Green Monster
- Gran Turismo 1 Arranged OST - A Man of the World
- Isamu Ohira - Drift of Air (Gran Turismo 1 Nissan Dealer Theme, JPN Version)

Notes:
- GT6 is recorded with component because I couldn't use my HDCP converter on my capture device. I bought another capture device but found out that my computer can't run the software for the device. So, back to component I went.
- As said above, I plan to do a follow-up to this list. Because there were more race cars and racing mods in GT1 never seen elsewhere.
- For the SIlvia LM, I didn't explain in the video why it was scrapped. My best guest is time constraints like the NSX-R LM. When developing GT2, Polyphony Digital seemingly didn't just port cars from GT1, but actually updated their models. That's why the Celica GT-Four ST205 in GT2 has a bigger wing on the back than the one in GT1 plus having different color options. The same case with the Dodge Vipers. PD juggling model updates for GT1 plus adding new cars for GT2, that's a lot to do between 1997 and 1999. I'm surprised with how many cars made it into GT2 based on that.
