DIY Command Center | Entryway Organization

Our entryway was constantly a mess of backpacks and shoes every day after school. After brainstorming with my husband we decided to put together this command center where we can write reminders, chores, quotes, and even hang artwork. Plus there are hooks for the kids backpacks to keep them off the floor. Such a small change has made a big difference in the organization of this space and we will show you how we did it. :)

Supplies Used:
particle board or ply wood (32x40)
miter box (to cut corners)
hand saw
2 knobs
pair of "t nuts"
power grab interior/exterior adhesive
sand paper (fine grit)
1x2 wood (measured to the width of your board minus the trim)
pvc trim (enough to cover all 4 sides)
chalkboard paint
paintbrush roller
measuring tape
power drill
screws
clamps
