“Offering” (oil of praise)
I have been reading loads on the scene in scripture, where in John 12, Mary pours out her praise. Her posture was positioned at Jesus’ feet.
It was extravagant, it was beautiful, it was different, it was negatively judged by the people around her. She didn’t care! Jesus was there. Nothing else mattered ❤️
May my worship be pleasing to You

“Offering”

In the beginning
There was always You
Always present
Never moved
You can’t be altered
You’re never waived
Creator king
We give you praise

Before each breath
You new You loved us
As you crafted
Each piece into place
For You desire a
People who would love You
Jesus I love you

So I pour out my oil
For all that You’ve done
For the way you made us
Every plant designed by love
Even when we turn from You
Your love holds true
Love is who you are
And always will

At the cross you
You died for me
It’s there You made
Your offering
Now I stand free
In Your victory
I pour out my oil of praise

To the one who made a way
Receive my praise
As an offering
