What The Sequels COULD HAVE BEEN! - George Lucas' Original Plans For Sequel Trilogy

George Lucas' original plans for the SEQUEL TRILOGY included Darth Maul coming back with his crime syndicate and taking Darth Talon, from Legends, as his apprentice! Also, Princess Leia was said to be the Chosen One as she would be the one to bring balance to the force!

This is all from the recently published book by Paul Duncan. Duncan knew George Lucas and received knowledge directly from George about what he had originally planned for the Sequel Trilogy.

Luke would have also been involved and would have reformed the Jedi Order and brought them back to Coruscant. This would have brought the story back full circle!

Anakin Skywalker would have been redeemed by his children Luke and Leia and this story would have wrapped up the generational story of the Skywalker's.

I would have loved to see this Sequel Trilogy as it was what George Lucas originally intended. It would have been different from the Disney version for sure and I feel would have tied up the actual Skywalker story better then the now canon Episodes 7, 8, and 9.
