TOOLS NEEDED:
Socket wrench with 10mm & 7mm sockets with an extension for the socket wrench. A plastic panel clip removal tool or you can use two flat head screwdrivers. You will also need a hex bit for the fender liner screws. The drill and rivet gun are for the bumper accessories video.

REMOVAL PROCESS:
This video is primarily to show you how to remove your Chevrolet Camaro front bumper cover for the LT/LS and SS versions. There is only a slight difference in the bumper style between the two but has the same shape and fog lights. You want to start with either the top or bottom to remove any bolts, screws, or plastic pins. You will have to turn the wheel to get your hands and tools into the fender liner area. The fender liner is held on by a hex bit. Be sure you have this attachment for your socket wrench or a hex screwdriver. This Camaro bumper is a bit unique, in that it has 3 bolts that secure it to the fender on each end of the bumper. Unless you have tiny tools and hands, you may be alright. The bolts are a different size and can be a bit difficult to get to but it's definitely manageable. Not only are there the bolts, but the three are also prongs that insert into the fender. Once all the bolts and clips are off, you can pull the bumper off the car. There is an electrical plug for the fog lights on the passenger side that need to be disconnected. Be sure not to pull the bumper out with too much force. The last thing you want to do is break your electrical wire harness. Because there are 2 or 3 prongs that insert into the fender you have to pull the bumper from the middle outward while keeping the bumper level. It sounds a lot harder than it is.

CONVERSION PROCESS:
This is where all the magic happens and you actually convert your bumper to the Camaro. You will of course need the SS Camaro-style bumper. This bumper is a bit more aggressive on the nose of the bumper. It also has a taller lower grille. Every other piece is reusable. The fender liners don't exactly line up, so you will need the SS version fender liners as well. The fog lights, fog light bezel, and the top grille are all the same. The SS Camaro has a tiny grille up top or what is sometimes referred to as the "mail slot." It is just a tiny accent piece right under the hood or the uppermost part of the bumper.

INSTALL PROCESS:
Chevrolet really put some weird stuff on this bumper to make it stays in place. The top corner of the bumper has 3 prongs on the bumper that need to be inserted into the fender. Very easy to install but it can be annoying aligning all the prongs at the same time when mounting the bumper. Where most bumpers would have 1-2 bolts/screws securing the bumper and fender together, this Camaro has 3-4 bolts that are size 10mm & 7mm. Don't forget to plug in the wire harness before you mount the bumper. You can do it from the bottom of the car but it can be a hassle to reach in with low visibility.
