We all know that shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel are filled with amazing characters but how much do you know about the cast members behind the scenes? Let’s take some time to appreciate all of the talented people behind our favorite characters! Did you know the titular hero from The Legend of Korra, is portrayed by Janet Varney who’s also on “You’re the Worst?” Then there’s the voice of Mako, and you might recognize David Fuastino if you’re a big fan of sitcoms! J.K. Simmons voices Tenzin but it’s his face which is his most recognizable feature. Mae Whitman and Dante Basco were disappointed their characters never got together, but they had better luck when working on a completely different series! Most of us know Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, but she’s also the voice of Avatar Aang’s daughter, Jinora. Jack DeSana not only brought Sokka to life, but he’s also responsible for making him into the sarcastic guy we all know and love. Toph Beifong has three different voice actors including Jessie Flowers, and she is far from the only character who does.
