Ellen Schillace, an artist, curator and social pioneer, is currently the vice president for International Association of Female Artists. She has been past President of the Minnesota Women’s Caucus for Art, co-founder of the WAVE GALLERY in lower town St. Paul in the early 80's and on the board of WARM. She has shown her work nationally and internationally,including Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and International Design Center in Minneapolis. Many of her images have been used for such organizations as Partners for Women’s Equality, CODE PINK, St. Anthony Park Neighbors for Peace, and Celebrate Yourself. Her curatorial debut of the WOMEN AND MONEY PROJECT at the University of Minnesota Katherine E. Nash Gallery stretched her to new levels. Her work is in multiple private collections throughout the United States, Canada, China and Africa.
