Terminating cover crop with walk behind sickle mower

I planted winter rye fall of 2021, now it's May 2022. Mowing it with my Merry Tiller sickle bar mower. Trying to build the soil of my garden. The steel wheels really helped because I only used a mold bard plow so the ground was rough. Only 3.5hp and this thing rocks as a brush mower. First time doing this and it was really nice to have green grow in the winter when everything else is brown. I have more videos of the sickle mower FYI
