Many beginner entrepreneurs or people who catch the entrepreneur bug are tempted to quit their jobs as soon as the can and jump head first into their own thing. Sometimes this works out but most of the time, from my experience, this is a terrible idea.

It's great that you want to be your own boss. But there is a strategic and less risky way of doing that without putting yourself in an unnecessary financial situation. This is why step 3 out of the 5 steps is super important. Building your confidence and beginning to make some money on the side with your potential business is a good sign that you are almost ready to make the big leap.
