Welcome to the show! Back in October 2020, British blues artist and our good friend Aynsley Lister dropped into Schwangri-La to get some tone help. Now if you’ve ever heard heard Ayns play live, you know he really doesn’t need any help! Yet as he explains in the video, a whole two-hour show of just guitar and amp can sometimes call for a little more variety. Thusly, Ayns is wondering if the addition of a little delay might help him achieve a wider, more varied soundstage for parts of the set.
We work through some basic delay textures before introducing him to wet/dry and a little harmonic tremolo.

As I explain in the intro, do excuse the format of this. It’s a little bit rough around the edges and fly-on-the-wall in nature, but we think it’s nonetheless interesting!
