At the center of the plot is the gloomy and laconic Wednesday, the eldest daughter of the eccentric Addams family, who changed eight schools in five years because of her shocking antics. After another scandalous incident, she is forced to transfer to Nevermore, an academy for outcasts that her parents once attended. The school is run with an iron grip by Larissa Weems, the sworn enemy of her mother Morticia. Here, the girl develops her newly discovered psychic abilities and undertakes to stop a monster wandering around the area, hunting people.
