Doordash suspended me... AGAIN!

As you guys can probably guess from the title of this video, yes doordash has suspended me once again.

Alright so first off for those of you who are just joining my channel I have been a doordash for almost three years now, and just this year I started going full-time. Ive done over 3000 orders and pretty much know all there is to know when it comes to this company. Ive also been a top dasher for a year straight now which means my ratings were above a 4.7, my acceptance rate was above 70%, my completion rate was above 95%, and I was on time at least 95% of the time. So Almost perfect ratings for a whole year now. And how does doordash repay me? By sending me this email one day as I’m dashing. Lets read through it. Pursuant to DoorDash’s public deactivation appeals policy, deactivations due to conduct that violated the terms of the ICA or the deactivation policy may be appealed if you do not believe that you violated DoorDash’s terms.  If you would like the basis for your deactivation to be reviewed, please fill out a request form at https://help.doordash.com/dashers/s/deactivation-appeals?.  Please note that the review will be limited to the reported incident and whether it violated the terms of our ICA or deactivation policy. If a second review confirms that it did in fact violate DoorDash Policy then, your deactivation will stand. You will be notified via email with the results of the appeal.

So Im just going about my normal day as a dasher right and I get this email and I get so confused. I don’t even know why this could’ve happened. Im trying to rack my brain to think of something I might’ve done, like maybe I forgot an item or maybe I forgot someones drink or something but I didn’t think that would end with me being deactivated. So Im like well this sucks. And so I keep dashing and then all of the sudden when I complete an order it goes back to the Home Screen. And I’m like okayyyyy so now I can’t dash anymore. So I drive home and I send in my appeal and this is what I get back. Hello! We have received your deactivation appeal case and are processing your information. Please feel free to reply back to this email if you wish to add additional comments or attachments. Now as you guys can see this was 11 days ago, and I STILL haven’t heard anything back. And I can’t find the email but I got one saying that a dasher support agent would be reaching out within 24-48 hrs. Well that was a complete lie. So after a few days I send this email to see if I can get any info on whats going on. I said “Hey it’s been a couple of days since I last heard from you, just wanting an update on my case and when I can get my account reactivated. Let me know ASAP! Thank you” That was 7 days ago and still haven’t heard a single thing back. So I decide to call and if any of you watched my last suspended video then you now exactly how this went. I call and get absolutely no where. The lady can’t even tell me what incident caused my account to be deactivated. All she can find is a report from the beginning of January that said I never delivered an order. So lets dive into this case because I can tell you exactly what happened and tbh its just wrong that customers do this. So what happened was I picked up this order and I was told to drop it off at this dance studio. Now I had to call this customer because I couldn’t exactly find where she was. So she gives me directions and I go in and drop off the order. I literally hand her her order. Then about 10 minutes later I get an email saying “We're writing to inform you that a DoorDash customer reported that they didn’t receive your following delivery:” and I’m like seriously, I just dropped that off. So I call the lady back and I’m like hey this is Blake with Doordash. I just dropped off your order about 10 minutes ago. And she was like “oh yeah I remember” And I say “so why did I get an email saying that you reported the order not delivered” and she’s like “ ummm oh I’m so sorry, it must’ve been a mix up,.” And I’m like “so I did drop off your order correct” and she’s like “yes you did” and them I’m like “ok well can you please contact doordash and tell them I actually did deliver you order because I can literally get fired for stuff like this” and she’s like “ph yeah I will, I’m so sorry”. So in my opinion if it is because of this order that I got suspended than thats just flat out wrong. A customer lying so they can get their meal for free, caused me to be out of work when I’ve literally been a top dasher with almost perfect customer ratings for a straight year now. It’s just wrong that this happens so often and really there’s not much us dashers can do about it. I guess the only thing I could’ve done was physically take a picture of the customer with the order. Because other than that I’m not sure what you could do to prevent false claims against you.
