Boeing 747 Rudder Failure

A Boeing 747 operated by Northwest Airlines (Northwest Airlines Flight 85) was enroute over the ocean when suddenly, the lower rudder deflected fully to the left, sending the massive airliner into a rather dangerous attitude. Under huge strain and using all their strength, the pilots attempt an emergency landing at Anchorage, Alaska.
