In this "vintage" clip from the 2016 "Roots" miniseries press tour, Regé, who played the iconic role of Chicken 🐓 George in this modern remake of the legendary 1977 miniseries, talks about the importance of Roots as a redefining film for the way black people saw themselves globally. Growing up in his mother’s native Harare, Zimbabwe, Page gives some unique perspective on seeing the original miniseries as a young 10 year old kid on the continent viewing how Americans seemed to view African and our continent’s heritage.
