My Salmon River Setup - How I get Salmon to Bite... Sometimes

I've been thinking about doing a "How To" video on the Salmon River for years! Well I finally did it and I hope it helps people. I get salmon to bite but it is often MUCH harder to fish that way. I give overall information on Salmon Fishing and the Salmon River as well as how I target and fish for these monsters. I break down my salmon fishing setups in detail and provide lots of tips along the way!

MY LEADER SETUP (for my 11'6" Switch Rod)
Section 1 (Main Line) - 10-11' of 20# Mono or Fluoro
--- Triple Surgeon's Knot ---
Section 2 (Sighter) - 3-4' of 20# Amnesia Mono Red or Yellow (I like using both 2'red, then 2' yellow)
--- Triple Surgeon's Knot ---
Section 3 (Main Tippet) - Fluorocarbon - Length depends on depth of water, Strength depends on water conditions. Typically 6' of 12-20#
--- Triple Surgeon's Knot --- Leave a tag end for split shot (use the smallest amount of split shot to get your fly down)
Section 4 (Tippet) - 18" from weight to fly. Short length minimizes accidental flossing
