Tesla Swapped Squarebody Hits the Ground for the First Time! - Electric C10 Ep. 10

It's the moment of truth! We're seeing how low this Twin Tesla squarebody really is! We're fabricating some supports to make sure we have some sturdy mounts for our bumper. Then we're moving on to the control arms! Tim and Donny are welding up some 1" tubing to act as a temporary suspension so that the truck will be able to sit under its own weight. Our mock set up in the back roughly mimics the push rod suspension we're planning on doing once our KW coil overs arrive at the shop! After the welding is done, we're ready to cut away our subframe chassis table supports and pick this Tesla C10 up with our 2 post lift. We slammed this truck so low, the wheels don't even touch the ground with the lift all the way down! But with a little help from our wheel dollies, we're able finally get these tires touching the floor. And man, does this squarebody sit low!
