My 1st impression of these powders are....they really acted identical on my skin. They are both very finely milled and (MJ is a little more finely milled) moisturizing on my skin. My under eye & overall face did not look dry or cakey on me what so ever. I wasn't able to notice a significant brightening affect but perhaps I need to be a little more heavy handed next time.
I would say the only negative feedback for me is that my makeup seemed to fade around the 7 hour mark. I am going to try a different primer & foundation to see if that will help a little. I also want to try to apply heavier & bake with these next time.
I will update below if I have any different luck.
**UPDATE* 6/4/18
I decided to try my other trusty primer, the NYX Angel Veil. I went in with a heavier hand & baked under eye & T-Zone. I did happen to notice a very slight coconut scent with the MJ this time around which I liked. The initial outcome looked great. Very flawless & blurred. They both still looked IDENTICAL on me. I did notice with the heavier application, it did help my makeup last longer. However my skin looked very dry & "crackidy-crunchity", which was surprising because of it being moisturizing initially. I'm so sad because I wanted to like these so bad but for the price I just don't think they're worth it. I will give it to Hourglass for such gorgeous packaging though.
