Unboxing the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro with a one week review of this great value Wear OS smartwatch. For £220 in the UK, you get a feature-packed smartwatch - the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro boasts slick performance and all those Google features like Wallet and the Assistant. But is it one of the best options of 2023?

Certainly it's cheaper than the Pixel Watch 2, Ticwatch 5 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. And some minor grumbles aside, like the lack of wireless charging, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro delivers a full, satisfying Wear OS experience. Sure, the Assistant can be her usual borky self and I've seen a couple of bugs but it's still very much early days.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro serves up slick notifications support, as well as a comprehensive set of fitness features. Like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, you get body composition tools and dependable GPS. Battery life isn't as good as some rivals, generally scraping close to 48 hours per charge. But the fast recharging means you can get a full day of play from just 15-20 mins at the plug.
