*COMMON QUESTIONS*

(Q) How long does it take for it to let me re-activate it again?
(A) Last time I checked it was 1 week, but they are always changing things. If you don't want to wait that long, then you can simply remove the IG App from your phone and then put it back when you are ready.

(Q) I deactivated a few days ago and it’s not letting me reactivate at all
(A) They don't let you reactivate right away. Give it a bit more time and it will be fine.

(Q) I heard if you leave it deactivated for a while, they will either (a) reactivate after a while, or (b) delete your account. Is this true or a false rumor?
(A) It is most likely they would reactivate it, just like they do on Facebook, since Facebook owns Instagram. I really doubt they would delete your account if you temporarily deactivate it because they want people using it because that's how they make money. (Q) I want to deactivate my account for quite a while, and don't want them to reactivate it until I am ready.
(A) If you really don't want to use your account for a while then the simple solution is to remove the Instagram App from your phone, then put it back when you are ready.
