Those of you that know me probably know I don't really ship that much. I can count the number of proper ships I have with one hand. I tend to ship character developments rather than characters romantically... But these two. These two are my ultimate ship, my one and only OTP. Nothing else can compare, and nothing ever will.

Which makes it so surprising I have never been able to finish a video by myself of only them since 2015. I counted up all the unfinished projects I have of these two and the number came out to be 74. Seventy-four. And this is the only one I've finished since 2015. Every time I try to edit them, I'm either overcome with emotions, or stuck on where to even start. Every single aspect of their story has such meaning, poetry, and beauty to it. It's impossible to fit in just one video and I feel empty leaving something out. It all comes full circle in every way possible.

For this video, I decided to just focus on one main aspect of their story — the quote I put up above. I just always adored that line and it's so fitting. The idea that their story is all a fantasy, a dream...the Doctor's difficulty handling her death(s), and Clara determined to not just be a "ghost" in his life, not realizing that it's herself, to him feeling like the ghost...and Clara becoming the ghost in the end. It hurts so good. Despite narrowing down their story so much, I feel like I'm missing so much.

It's messy and I probably should've gone with an instrumental since you can't even hear the lyrics with the voiceover damage I did anyway (plus I was hesitant about using this song since it has been edited to death), but I feel content. I've probably gone off a bit too long here, but this is big for me.
