Lionel Richie calls Beane the “modern-day Mister Rogers,” complimenting Beane on his familiarity, but is also concerned that he may not be the right fit for American Idol. Fortunately for us, Lionel and Katy both see something “special” in Beane and decide to send him through to Hollywood!
