Second in the series for the floatation center retail shelving, this video shows how we make the base with storage in the center. I used oak plywood and solid oak trim and a combo of steel wool and apple cider vinegar to color the wood.
This construction should be pretty applicable to any sort of large box you could make, from a simple entertainment center to shelving or a corner stand.
