Active Seniors Should Be Doing These Two Exercises!

If you are an active senior, or anyone for that matter, then hip hinging and rowing should be staples in your exercise program.

Hip hinging and rowing work the posterior chain, or muscles on the backside, which are often under utilized and under trained.

Hip hinging, in particular, works the hamstrings, glutes, and low back musculature. Rowing, in particular, works the posterior shoulder and upper back musculature.

Make sure you are performing at least one day of rowing exercises and one day of hinging exercise exercises in your weekly program. These are essential for longevity!
