Resha walay shami kabab
Ingredients
1 kg beef boti
1 cup chana dal
1 packet tandoori shan masala
2 tbsp ginger garlic powder
Ingredients for mixing in kabab
Chopped onion 3 medium size
Chopped coriander leaves
Chopped green chilies
Boiled mashed potatoes.2 medium size
Breadcrumbs 1 cup
Yogurt 4,5 tbsp
2 eggs
1: In a pressure cooker, add beef and then ginger-garlic powder, along with a packet of Shan Tandoori Masala. Add some water and cook until the meat becomes tender.
2: Once the meat is tender, add chana dal to the cooker. Add a little more water and cook until the dal is fully cooked.
3: Once the meat and dal mixture is ready, there will be some leftover water. Use a masher to mash the entire mixture together. This will make the meat and dal blend, and you won’t need to grind it in a machine.
4: Boil potatoes and mash them separately.
5. Chopping: Chop onions, fresh coriander, and green chilies.
6. Mixing the Ingredients: Once the meat and dal mixture is at room temperature, add the mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, chopped coriander, chopped green chilies, and chopped onions. Then, add 2 eggs and some yogurt. Mix everything together thoroughly with your hands.
7: Make the kebabs.
8: Shallow fry the kebabs until golden brown.
These kebabs turn out to be very delicious, juicy, and have a slightly different taste than regular shami kebabs. Try them and please let me know how they turn out 😍
