What is going on my mates, hope you have all been doing well. Today we'll be talking about Summer Death, the incredible debut from Marietta, an emo/indie rock/pop punk outfit from Philadelphia.

Marietta hasn't been together for the better part of five years now, but their contributions to modern emo live on. Summer Death and As It Were are some of the most fun, expansive, and emotionally-compelling works that the emo revival had to offer.

I hope you enjoy this video about one of my favorite albums of all time, I really tried to slow it down with this one and attempt to give this band the justice they truly deserve.
