Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe from Scratch | Smoking-Meat.com
Step into my kitchen and I'll show you how I make homemade pizza dough from scratch. We'll stretch the finished dough into a crust and make a smoked pulled pork pizza when it's all said and done.

**HELPFUL INFO**
Knead Time: 8-10 minutes
Cook Time: 10-12 minutes (brown crisp crust, cheese is bubbling)
Pizza Oven Temp: 550°F
**HOME OVEN COOKING INSTRUCTIONS**
1. Place pizza stone on top rack that is 9 inches from top of oven.
2. Preheat oven on 500°F for 30 minutes.
3. Just before inserting pizza onto stone, turn oven to broil setting.
**INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH**
1-¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
½ teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water (~110°F)
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2-¼ cups unbleached bread flour (I use King Arthur)
½ cup extra flour for dusting the dough, pizza peel, work surface, etc.)
