Polls open for Voice referendum
Polls have officially opened for the last day of voting in the Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum.
The Yes and No campaigns have until 6pm to make their final bids to voters to determine if Indigenous Australians will be recognised in the constitution through a Voice to parliament.
More than 5.4 million votes have been cast as of midday Friday at early voting centres around the country.
It is the first referendum to be held since 1999.
The latest polling published in the lead-up to the referendum date has indicated Australians are likely to vote No.
