Swing Out Sister Breakout

Breakout (Remastered HQ) is performed by Swing Out Sister in 1986. The British trio is Corinne Drewery (vocals), Andy Connell (keyboards), and Martin Jackson (drums). The second single from Swing Out Sister's debut album It's Better to Travel reached number four in the UK, rose to number six on the US Billboard Hot 100, and number one on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1987.

Breakout resulted in a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. The group was also nominated in 1988 for Best New Artist. Swing Out Sister is currently a duo with eleven studio albums released through 2017.
